Synopsis
Marialma storms into her dressing room scared after her stage play has ended. We can still hear the audience applaud, when a voice interrupts her in the silence of her safe place. As she sits in front of her make up mirror, she confronts her own reflection and travels to all the moments and decisiones in her life that have taken her to this instant.
PRODUCTION
This is the second short written, produced and directed by Venezuelan filmmaker Agatino Zurria, and was filmed in 16 milimiter in Barcelona, Venezuela, during a three-day weekend in August, 1994 after weeks of pre-productions and rehearsals.
It was officially selected for the 1993 International Festival of New Latin American Cinema, in Havana, Cuba, and later was part of the 1994 program for independent filmmakers “Estrenar el Cine Nacional” at the Cinemateca Nacional, in Caracas, Venezuela.
